Dear Fellow Vintage Lovers, Dreamers, & Boss Babes,
Welcome to the very first DamnAged Vintage Blog Post! After years of tireless days, nights and weekends, I decided to call it quits to my soul draining corporate job. I don't know about you, but for a second I felt like I lost myself and my sense of purpose in the monotony of a meaningless job. It's easy to do that when your main priority is to work in order to live, yet in NYC (and I am sure beyond the concrete jungle), we live to work. What I refer to as a blessing and a curse has become my greatest gift. That is the ever so haunting burning desire to be my own boss, stylist, buyer, and to sell vintage clothes for a living. Fast forward 6 months later and here we are. People say going into business is a lot like jumping off a cliff and trying to assemble an airplane on the way down. Well I am here to tell you, no one knows exactly what they're doing and they're probably not even doing it right, but hey, you gotta start somewhere. So if you too, have an itch to try something new, a dream that you can't seem to shake, just go for it. After all, you'll never know unless you try. Follow me along on this journey as I chip away at this thing called entrepreneurship.
